I have a few more paintings of the Myakka River in the works. If you are ever in SW Florida it’s definitely worth a trip. I hope to do a lot more landscape paintings. If you have a favorite nature spot in SW Florida you’d like to see a painting of, let me know.

I’ve never been to Rehoboth Beach. In fact, I didn’t even know where it was until after I painted it (it’s in Delaware). This is a painting I created for Karin Jurick’s new blog “Different Strokes from Different Folks.” Karin is a great artist and her success on eBay is a real inspiration to me. On her newest blog she posts a weekly photo and invites anyone to submit a painting inspired by the photo.
Check out her blog here.

I pulled this from my garden this morning. It’s actually from my Fall garden and it was ready for harvest months ago. I pulled it out to paint it since my Spring garden is starting to sprout. Of course, it started to wilt right away. I thought it would be too stringy to eat since it was so old, but it tasted great boiled and sprinkled with olive oil and oregano.
